You got that straight. I was trying to get one out of the fast lane yesterday in a lifted truck but she was trying to race me I did. The second attempt I passed her at 85. Guess No one told her to regear on a pos Chevy.

Nope, absolutely wrong. They are the ones causing all of the slowdowns around on ramps and off ramps. I see it every day of my life. Because they wait till the last second to move over they put themselves in the situation of either moving over, or being run off of the road, so most people will slow down and let them in. It is the responsibility of the drivers in the lane that's ending to adjust to traffic in the other lane and get over.

Actually from what i've seen all of the unsafe drivers on the road are disproportionately older. It seems like once you get middle aged, it's ok to tailgate people in the middle or right lane. That it's ok to wait till you're about to crash before you get out of your lane that's ending, that it's ok to cause all sorts of traffic congestion. And it just gets worse the older drivers get.

i disagree lol. the age to start drivers ed in idaho is 14 1/2, then after 6 months with a permit you can get your license. I still think elderly people top the list of overall terrible drivers, but the high school kids who just get their licenses comes in at a close second. FIFTEEN!:goingcrazy: honestly that is way too young to be able to drive a vehicle unsupervised. i think it should be at least 16 to take drivers ed then a year with a permit at least to get a license.

on the subject of tailgating...im guilty of it. when the speed limit is 40 and you are hardly hitting 33 i end up getting fairly close to get the point across. the same goes for driving through the mountains, if there is a driver who does not know the road or does not know how to drive mountain roads well and they are holding up a line of cars and i am unfortunately right behind them i have to get on their tail hopefully for only a little bit, for them to get the message to pull out at the next slow vehicle turn out. flashing them does not always get the message across.

i know i have said this before, but in idaho (during the housing boom) we had a huge influx of people from California move here. and many of them had NO CLUE how to drive in snow. so once their first winter hit just the little 20" of average annual snow in boise caused so many wrecks with these people, it was a nightmare.

EDIT: After watching this video i have learned my lesson and do not think i will ever tailgate someone again

Young does not mean 16. Yes 16 year old drivers suck because drivers ed teaches you nothing but a few traffic laws and the driving test to get your license is way way too easy. It takes a few years to figure out how to drive on your own. But very few 16 year olds don't drive wrx's. People in their 20's and 30's drive wrx's.

Not sure if you mean that there are very few 16 year olds that drives WRXs, Because if so... Come to my city. A kid that isnt even 17 has a 2007 STi. theres a 16 year old that rides in a yellow WRX with a turbo that literally has almost 400whp. Every kid outta high school in my town has a subaru and most of the time its a wrx.

In the street: people around my nehigboorhood (626) And don't fricking call me racist because is true, and I just come from the 10 on del mar and agghhhhhhhh, me heart rate is starting to go up again just remembering. My F$&%# God, fricking u turn in the mittle of the street, turn signal doesn't exist, and NO consideration for other drivers..

In the freeway or highways: trucks going 55 passing another truck that's going 53. I've been going back and forward to Arizona for the holidays, once it took a frisking truck like 4 miles to pass the other truck.

You must have a lot of very rich daddies where you live!

And out of high school means 18+ so more like early 20's

In my experience in what i've seen on the street, and the thousands of cars i've worked on, I've never met any 16-18 year olds driving any kind of wrx. Tons of people in their early 20's though, which is VERY different from 16.
