College Students/Mechanical Engineering?

As you may have been following in last night's thread, there are a lot of Mechanical Engineering Majors. So I figured I could start a thread where we can converse and even get some help or what not. This is open to any college student, but I just saw 3 or 4 ME majors in the past thread. Just post what you are studying and what your favorite/hardest/etc classes have been!

 

I enjoyed my math classes, even though they were hard. The Calcs were kind of boring, but when we started into diff eq and linear algebra, I really got a kick out of it. Hardest class I took was modern physics, which was almost completely applied ODE and some PDE. But it was really cool to start to understand the physics of light and realitivity.

Hardest true engineering class I had was fluid mechanics, just because of time constraints.

 

I hate all my engineering classes equally

Ok, maybe physics I hate a little more, but that's because somebody thought of the bright fucking idea to not have the class lectured, instead learn via teamwork.

 

I thought calc 2 and physics 2 were the hardest classes. I had a really bad teacher for statics so that class sucked as well. Worst engineering class was probably fluid dynmaics. To many long hand calculations.

 

I am a graduate student now after working for five years...fracture mechanics is kicking my ass. Too much differential equations!!!

 

No longer a College Student, but I have a fond memory of Differential Equations and Thermodynamics. Both of them kicked my ass.

My favorite MechE classes were the mechanism design. Least favorite classes were differential equations and statistics. It's crazy that in another 2.5 months I'll be a graduate, but it's been fun and I got a job already so that takes the stress off graduating.
