Prerunner to 4x4 Swap

    2003 taco TRD off road 4x4 dbl cab.
    255/85-16 BF goodrich km3's, modified trail gear Bumpers front and rear, 10k winch, ranch rear lift shackles, Rancho coilovers in the front, grey wire mod, aftermarket stereo, camper top on the back.
    i have actually begun swapping my runner to 4x4. i have already bought the trans and transfer case. also got a matching ecm to go with it. im going to pick up some hubs here shortly but i still need a front axle, locker for it and a ring gear kit to match it with my 4.56 ratio in the rear. ill see if i can do a small write up on what to expect from this swap. i did choose to stay automatic and am going to try to trick the ecm into thinking its still a 2wd because i got a manual transfer case. ill throw some pics up here soon.

    PreRunner 4x4, Homebrew Front Bumper, Homebrew Sliders, Homebrew Skids, Homebrew Bedbar, Homebrew Beer
    No need to trick the ecm into thinking it is in 2wd. ECM only controls the engine and transmission. The 4wd module(which you don't have or need if manual hubbed) is what tells the actuator to move over and engage.
