Im confused, why do you want a engine management part on a car with no boost?

Ignition control, and even OE settings aren't accurate. Besides it'd allow me to do other things too. I found a 99 TRD V6 with a TRD supercharger for $6950 :D, 167k miles too! Now I just have to find a used intercooler

Cost, MSN said 96+ had less reported systematic problems, but with research I found out that 98+ have the e-locker so it's gonna be 98 or 99 for cost reasons. See above rely too, I couldn't multiquote on two pages.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal! These trucks run forever with the proper care. I just passed 165k the other day, and the only problems I've had are from abuse by the previous owner (and certain mistakes I've made, lol). Just make sure everything is in working order before you pull the trigger and buy it.

KBB value for it's condition is $5,935, so that price with not just any supercharger but a TRD!

I know what you mean, my brother is a dumbass and blames all his engine failures on either me or vandalism (i.e. 'someone put sugar in my fuel tank') Which the truth is he had water in his gear oil, he never ever checked his oil level, EVER, and changed his oil at like 20k miles, all while pushing the engine really hard. He's smoked himself retarded, and he is so cheap.

Me? I religiously do preventative maintenance. As soon as I notice a problem it's fixed as soon as parts come in. So far no problem has existed, only parts that normally wear down needing replacement.

I know a guy who used Mobil 1 in his Chevy truck with 15k mile oil changes (before they came out with EP, extended performance guaranteed for 15k miles) and his engine is running strong after 500,000+ miles with no engine work! Standard V8 5.3L engine with the engine code of T. Like 80% have that engine in Chevy SUV's and Trucks.

Update: Already sold :( missed by 2 days :/
