How do you forget about it? It's like the second most advertised product on here behind plastiderp.

Alright I'm for sure getting some. I need to do it before it gets any worse. Should I get a spray can of it or just the gallon and roll it on or something?

I bought a quart and put it on with a cheap chip brush that I throw away after each use. Its a big project, so i did 1/4 of the frame one day, and so on...

My quart covered the entire frame, rear differential, gas tank skid plate, front skid plates, and front end parts...and I still have some left over. It goes on thin and goes a long way.

Make sure you wear gloves and long sleeves...the blue nitrile gloves, not the white latex ones. You will have this on your skin for at least 2 weeks. I made that mistake and spent a few days at a trade show hiding my hands.

Also, when you put the can away, put a plastic barrier between the can and the lid or else the POR 15 with permanently seal the lid and can together, and you're out 50 bucks. I ruined the cover that came with it because there was a drop of paint where the lid seals itself.

Remember that prep is critical. Wire brush the crap out of everything and make sure any flaky rust is completely gone. My pneumatic needle scaler was my best friend...got me into all the hard to reach places. If you dont have access to one, chip away with a screwdriver and hammer in the corners and use a lot of different sized wire brushes.

You dont have to get the metal shiny clean...POR 15 is supposed to be applied to a rusty, pitted surface.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

P.s. I'm officially an addict. Just looked at my 2011 Amazon purchases and I made 171 of them.

    Amazon Prime is amazing :)
