Just bought a Mac!!

this is my first one. i've had an iPhone and iPad for a while. My laptop is about to crap out on me. i went to best buy and my buddy who works there hooked me up!! Its a 13 inch mac book pro. I'm digging it so far!!

thats what i'm using.....been great so far! My advice convert all your windows formated ipods ect. over to mac. They just seem to run smoother IMO. Especially itunes.

 

I've had mine for 2.5 years and got their extended warranty. My batter crapped out as well as my charger adapter. Took it in and they gave me a new ones for free no questions asked. Enjoy your mac!

So how did he hook you up? Do tell. I know apple products are usually none negotiable. Congrats on the laptop. We're big apple fans ourselves.

 

it was an "open box item" then they had an instant coupon. he marked it down more than it was already marked down.
put it this way, i couldn't turn it down. lol.

i have the 13 inch macbook, had it for about 2 years. i love it!

 

It's nice to not have a virus.

 

I've got a 5 year strong MacBook and 2 iPads. You can't go wrong with far superior apple products. Thinking about upgrading to a MacBook air.

 

I got the i5 13" Macbook Pro about 4 months ago, with a Time Capsule and new iPhone 4S, and I am not going back to a PC. I like my desktops that run Win XP, but my laptops will always be Macs from now on. Enjoy.

Also check out Newegg for the 8Gb of ram from Crucial or Kingston for about $35, I still have the base 4Gb, but plan to upgrade in the next few months.

If its an ipod just hook it up to itunes and click on the restore tab/button. You will have to redo your playlists ect. NOT SURE about the iphone since i dont have one....... yet. You'll pick up quick plus if you search there is a huge online knowledge base.

 

Any experiences with the MacBook air??

 

My 13" MacBook Pro is still going strong after 2 years. Couldn't ask for anything better. AAFES is starting to sell them on base and gives us a good discount and of course it's tax-free.
