    It was never more than 6". The only difficult spots were on the back steep shady areas coming down. I had to drop it into 4-low to keep from sliding around with the brakes. The ford did slide out side ways into the hillside. Not sure if it was the truck or just driver error.     with off roading encourage friends and family that offroading is fun and risky but when surrounding elements are just too much of a risk, save your pride and reverse your way out..... risk management people...
