As a cop I have been carrying concealed for 20+ years, that being said if the gun is too big it tends to stay in the safe. I carried a S&W 640 38special for years than bought a Kel-Tec P3At which I never trusted for some reason. Traded the Kel-Tec for the Bodyguard and couldn't be happier. Small front pocket carry no holster. Long trigger pull just means more practice and after a while you won't even notice it. YMMV

Like most of the folks here I hate the long trigger pull, its a heavy trigger as well, Does make it hard getting used to. I found myself jerking the trigger as well. I love the size of it though. Its a great CCW. The issues experienced with it hanging up concerns me though. That issue would really suck in a real world situation! Glad to hear S&W took care of your problems quickly though!

    Good luck!

Just make sure you cary with one in the camber. That way you will at least have one shot in case it does decide to jam. I would like to eventually get one of the sig 380's

Yea. I posted previously that they fixed the problems (loose screws) and everything is in working order. I am currently carrying it with confidence.

Wow, just left the lake from shooting, you weren't kidding about the long trigger pull. I was shooting my p22 and 1911 also, I got all tripped up when I went to and from the bodyguard to the others. The gun did good though, no problems and accurate.

LOL Yup this is EXACTLY what I experience as well.

IMO you either have to stick with it and get used to the long trigger pull, or you get rid of it all together. I alternate between the PT-145 and the BG.380. WORLDS apart!

    Makes for interesting range times!:quickdraw:

Yeah, my dad was a little disappointed with it's trigger pull, he only shot maybe 30 rounds through it. I told he he needs to go and shoot the shit out of it and get used to the pull. I told him getting some snapcaps and practicing at home would help too. I think he was hoping for it to shoot a bit more like his m&p 40.

I'm not sure after shooting it if I would buy one for myself. I love shoot all my guns and put lots of rounds through them; the bodyguard just felt awkward. My dad said had he been able to shoot it prior to buying it then he maybe wouldn't have bought it.

I carry in the chamber, safety off. the long trigger pull is the safety.

i bought one on Saturday night and went up and put about 100 rounds through it on Sunday. it took me about 25 shoots to get comfortable with it and when i took my time i was hitting really good at 30 feet. the laser was dead on and when i practiced shooting fast it was nice to just look at where the laser was and go. i have been carrying it ever since and no one can even tell. i barely can even tell i have it.
overall i like it, i hate the trigger pull and may buy a sig p238 to carry also but i will wait and see what happens.

glad you like it so far.

during the summer it fits great in my cargo shorts pocket. not so much in my jeans pocket during the winter though. Im looking for a good jacket that has pockets on the inside for CC. I have my crossbreed holster but I have a hard time keeping my shirt or jacket from getting tucked between the holster and my body...
