    There is no need for a limited slip additive in the TRD Off-road Tacomas.

    I thought I saw a write-up where the Sport models need it? Also, doesn't "LS" imply that it has an additive already in the oil?

    Sport models up to the 08 year. After that, it became electronic and the diffs went back to being open..

    Having the additive in a non-LSD differential (or transfer case) will not harm anything. Running no additive in a mechanical LSD on pre-'09 TRD Sport (IIRC, that's when it switched to an E-LSD) will cause chattering. Change out your fluid. If for some crazy reason your TRD Off-road came with a mechanical LSD then you will notice right away when you start turning corners. If you get chatter, simply add a 3 oz tube of Sta-Lube LSD additive.

    Can I use the below pictured fluid in a 2008 TRD OFFROAD V6 in the front differential, rear differential, and transfer case with no issues?.... and without using additives (that should answer my question)

    Ummm I'm at 60K, I've done it before at 30K but pretty much forgot everything :eek: I ran this same fluid last time but I couldn't remember if I added anything else.

    Plus it was a pain last time. It was winter, outside, my pump didn't fit correctly. I ended up poking a hole in the back of the bottle and using an air compressor to pump it out. IT WAS A PAIN!

    This time I'm in a garage, I got heat, and I've gathered more info on the topic.
