UCA bushings? ball joints? Steering rack? Rack bushings?

    Just naming stuff.

Any possibility of a bent rear axle?

whens the last time you changed the rear diff fluid?

Maybe something in the rear diff?

Maybe its the jacked up tires causing the vibes?

everything looks good under the truck uca bushings have no play pop squeak. rear axles are not bent because i feel it in the steering wheel and the seat. changed the rear diff fluid and fron diff fluid less than 2 weeks ago. the rack does not have play or any issues. does not leak. probably would not hurt to install rack bushings as they are cheap and easy to replace. i really think it is the tires cause when driving slow i can actually feel the truck go up and down slightly and rock side to side. ive had it on a lift and looked at it for several mins push pull and suspension steering components and no play or anything. i really believe its the tires give me a few ill get some pics of them.

pictures of the tires. i had the alignment and rotation done this past saturday. always maintained the air pressure in the tires.

im gonna lean towards tires on this one. let me put it this way.. if you came into my shop with this problem i would blame the tires immediately. mud tires are obviously very aggressive and whenever they begin to wear you will definitely experience extreme tire noise and maybe some vibration if the wear pattern is really really bad.

well as you can see the wear pattern is not good. alignment being out is what happened. another thing is my lower control arms alignment cams were frozen and i did not know this until over a year after i got the tires. i had it aligned same day i bought the tires but the lower control arm cams were frozen so no way they were properly aligned. doomed from the start. i have since corrected all of that with new bushings and cams. and now i have a good alignment i believe truck does not wonder as much

So it was "aligned" but the tools at the shop didn't tell you that your cams were frozen??

They didn't give you the printout from the alignment computer?

correct and correct. which is why i switched shops. still didnt get a printout though. i am guessing that at first being brand new tires and me only driving about 15000 miles a year at the time the wear took a while before it began causing problems

I always ask for the printout...mostly for proof that they actually did the alignment.

I went for an alignment a few days ago and dropped off the truck and went for a walk. When i came back an hour later when they said it was going to be done I thought it was weird that the truck looked like it didn't move at all from where I parked it.

I went inside and my keys were on the counter so I figured it was done. But the guy couldn't find the printed work order, so he started to right up a paper one and I was about to hand him my debit card when I asked for the alignment print out. He couldn't find it either and went back into the shop to ask the tech where he put it....and came back to tell me that the guy who received me never even took the keys and the work order back to the techs.

They weren't being dishonest...just dumb

But I could have paid for nothing and driving home could have wondered..."this thing still feels like its pulling...meh..its just me..."

make sure your tires and rims are completely clear of all mud a debris. it only takes a little mud to throw a tire out of balance and vibrate like hell! also check that your tires are balanced correctly and that none of them are out of round (are a little oval shaped) as this will eat your ass in a very specific speed range!

Might be silly suggestion or totally off the wall, but how are the shocks?

Also, know you said you maintain your tire pressures, but what are your tire pressures kept at?

after taking a second look at my steering rack bushings and for 18 bucks think i might change them over to the polys. i looked under the truck while turning the wheel with it running and could see the rack and pinion moving some. is this normal? looked excessive to me. also is there a write up on how to change them? looks to be 3 grommet style on the drives side. u bolt style on the passenger side and one is the middle. do i have to remove the r and p? do i need a press are questions i have
