Anyone use these? I used them a long time ago on a Dodge Dakota, worked pretty good keeping the brake dust down but did have a lot of trouble with the pads wearing out quickly on that truck. Would the shields cause that from over heating? Was thinking of putting some on my truck but this scares me. I don't know if the Dakota just had bad brakes or if maybe the shields cause them to get too hot? Any thoughts on this?

I'm talking about the ones that go behind the wheel shielding the rotor and everything from the wheel.

I like the idea but my only concern would be heat buildup.
