I recently installed this Grom Audio Aux adapter with I Pod connection and it fried my I Pod Nano that was two days old! The auxiliary connection works well; I can plug it in to the headphone jack on my phone or I Pod. However, after I connected my new Nano to the I Pod chord, the I Pod turned off and went blank. I unplugged the I Pod but could not turn it back on. I then reset the I Pod, according to the manual, and it eventually came back on. I plugged it in a second time and it froze up immediately. While it was still plugged in I reset the I Pod a second time and it shut off never to turn on again. I took it back to the store where I bought it and they said it was officially "fried" and would not come on or connect with any of their software or computers. Thank goodness they let me exchange it. I have contacted Grom via email (the only way I could find to contact them and they have not responded yet). I will post their response.
