people that are getting low mileage out of nittos are either doing something wrong. by low mileage i mean anything less then say 35-40k... which is pretty norm for any AT tire nowadays.
ive ran a few sets with great results.

265/75/16's should fit under stock suspension if im not mistaken. Might rub just a tad at full lock. I know for a fact that 265/70/16's dont rub because thats what I have on my 03 right now. yoko geolanders are awesome. Im not saying they are a better tire than the nittos but they are better priced(around $100 better). I have heard now from a total of 4 people that the terra grapplers wear out quickly(under 35k). And I know for a fact that geolanders will go 50k+. I def. made the right decision going with the geolanders. Ordered them today. Im going to mount them on some 09 TRD wheels that I had powder coated black. They should look real nice. Ill take pics and post them when the lift and wheels get put on

I see people on a daily basis with over 50-60k on Nittos.

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same dilemma. I like the Nitto's, they look awesome. The Geolanders look great too. I've read so many arguments going both ways. But the big thing that does keep popping up is the life of the Nitto's. Ironically I can get either tire for almost the exact same price. I was leaning toward the Geo's until I found I could get a set of Nitto's for the same price. Now after this thread and a couple others on some various forums, I'm leaning back towards the Yokohama's. So OP, are you still happy with yours?
