    When you add all Sierras, Silverados and Avalanches together Ford STILL outsells them and has for 35+ years. Dodge isn't even worth mentioning since I think Ford sells more white F150s in a year than all the Rams Dodge sells per year.

    As far as many of them being 'Fleet' service trucks, why would you consider this a bad thing? Those Fleet trucks are used and abused way beyond what the average private owner would ever do with his truck and the companies who have these fleets keep buying Fords - that says something about how well they handle the abuse.

    This pulled into the shop today (I don't feel like resetting the time/date on my camera), but please, do go on about Ford....Get back at me when your Yota's start blowing out spark plugs...

    -There should be a little tab with a hole for a bolt to go through on the right side of this coil. Guess where that tab is? Still bolted down.

    Know your facts, I would love to see a stock anything pull this without trouble! (No diesel) This 76 did though, 2bbl carb and 390FE, one of the best Ford ever made. I also know a guy that rolled a 78 Bronco down a mountain slope, idk how far, but after getting out of the hospital he went back, fired it up and drove it out of the canyon intact. Tell me Ford sucks and you are in for a rude awakening! All trucks have their drawbacks, I know that, but not very many can match the durability of a Ford F-series (not counting the Raptor, it does have a shitty frame I agree)

    Ahh, the ol "fanboy" card.

    Toyota may have had their HG issues, still, how many yota's you hear about blowing plugs because there is not enough threads in the cylinder head? Supreme Ford engineering!

    Apples and oranges ;)..

    Boys pissing on a "hot" rock to make steam....come on will ya'!!!!!!:p

    Ford "owns" that mid-size 1/2 ton market and now that diesel $$$ is through the roof...F-250/350 V-8 gas sales will kick as$ too....:rolleyes:

    Toyota has the "small/mid-size" market ...WHY????? TACOMA in any version;

    1) 2wd reg cab can be beaten by a parts runners for 200k while Chevy and Fords "PUKE" at under 100k

    2) Taco's can be beaten and still come back,either with used parts or "NEW" from MANY aftermarket sources....

    3) Toyota does have "oops" BUT show me ANYONE else that makes up for it; buy backs,new FRAMES,head gasket recalls on Junk motors and the li$t goes on....

    WILL TOYOTA get everyone NO, and I wish they would have stopped trying long ago....Quality took a BIG HIT and is slowly coming back....

    Enough of a "rant".......plus i'll really sign off...

    2002 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 (re-framed ;) )
    2007 Honda Ridgeline RL

    Dam,feels nice owning #1 and 3 :cool:......
