Just bought a 2012 DC LB Tacoma with all the bells and whistles. The stereo is killer with the subwoofer.

My question is I want to level it with a 2" lift in the front. It has 265/65/17's on it now. Will I be able to get 285/70/17's on it or will I need to go to a 3" lift in front and 1" in back.

Also looking for a small light bar for the front. Doesn't seem to be too much out there for 2012's.

    Thanks

Biggest you can fit with no lift is 265/70/17

How about 2" lift in the front to get 285's in there? The back seems like there is plenty of room for 285's at stock height.

Not sure if the 2012s are different but I'm running 5100s and 285's on my 06 DCLB. 5100's are set to 2.5 and rear AAL was installed a while later they fit with a little bit of inner wheel well cutting.

I have 265/70/17 mt and had to lift 2.5 and remove two sets of mud flaps in my front wheel wells. Look at my profile pics im 2012 2.5 up front n stock rear.

I believe you can get either a weld on or bolt on for the avid bar .. The crossfab bar is bolt on and so is the nfab

the avid light bar bolts on using existing bolts on the front end.

the sliders you can specify bolt on or welded with 3" gussets I believe

I think they will fit w a 2" lift. I put icon coil overs on my 12 dcsb and I fit 33-12.5-17 mt general grabbers on my truck. I don't have the coils cranked all the way up and didn't have to do a cab mount chop. Just minor trimming in the front.

Yeah, for me maybe cause of tread pattern? But it did rub even after my lift.
