Fuel injector cleaning?

    5100 set to max, pending LSD and TRD CAI
    I’m prepping for a major tune up as I’m at 37,000k. Can someone tell me if I need the fuel injector cleaned? Its going to cost me $100, dealer said it’s generally $200 to do.

    a 10 dollar bottle of sea foam will clean you up just fine.

    I use mainly Shell, Cheveron, or Arco. You know what I completely forgot about the injector cleaner; I used to buy them in a three pack at Costco.

    That price is about right...I was told $129 once. Some believe in the dealer injection service and say it improves gas mileage (which it may)...I have yet to believe it or personally see results...and it seems like a lot of $$$ for it as well.

    I agree with my bro phantom...I'd swing by an auto parts store first
