Any bright ideas

I want to remove all the badges and I dont know how. They are on stronger than any other vehicle i have ovned.

 

Use a glue softener on the glue behind the badges, usually a degreaser (I think), then use fishing line in a sawing motion behind the badges to get them off, wipe off remaining glue residue.

 

a heat gun to soften up the adhesive will also help

 

Be very careful with a heat gun if you aren't familiar with them. You can do a lot of damage to your paint in a hurry if you aren't paying attention.

 

This if you don't have a heat gun use a blow dryer and fishing line using a saw motion.

 

You'll probably just need the fishing line anyway seeing as you have an '11. I did mine when I first got my truck and they came off extremely easily that way.

 

Dental floss and a hair dryer...goo gone or goof off to remove any leftover adhesive and fresh coat of wax to seal the paint...I found debadging on a 100 degree day made the adhesive pretty soft on its own, so it might be worth waiting for summer like I am...

 

I debadged mine yesterday. 50* outside. Used fishing line and dawn dish soap for the residue. No issues.

 

^^^This worked for me. Removed badges that were 4 yrs old, no problem...just take your time and go slow. A heavier lb. test line works best.
