No offense but thats not smart for a few reasons.

The chemicals we have been talking about.
The blood you can get on your gear.
Once you get in with your regular clothes on, now they are on your regular clothes and you can take them anywhere and everywhere.
Driving with fire boots on (i'm guessing) can be dangerous in a regular vehicle, if you wreck you will be blamed for more reasons then one.

    Of course just my .02

After very use I wash thorough so when I jump in my truck it's clean, and of course when I'm done at the scene I take it off at the scene so no black seat lol

now I can see where thconcern is here, but as far as blood goes I haven't had to deal with any(so far) and driving in my boots is like driving in boots lol all are stuff was custom fitted so it fits like it should, just like how the regulars drive to the scene with their boots on. I feels totally regular for me.

Here we don't get to much calls as you can tell and when we do it's just brush fire, illegal rubbish burns and structure fires. We don't get called to car accidents and we just stick to our subdivision, since I live way in the forest we just get the kinds of calls I mentioned. Most guys in our VFD do what I do
