I agree with you on kicker product, they are loud but you can get way better sound quality for less. You're basically paying for the name.

 

x2^^^^ kicker is way overpriced... not bad products but imo... the bang for the buck just isnt there..... i believe alpine has a little better bang for the buck value... but still overpriced.... but i must say i am very happy with my mrp-m1000.1 although i feel that i kinda got raped on the price.... i paid a little under 400 for it at the local shop.... i could have gotten it a bit cheaper on the web but i like being able to just walk into the shop with a defective product and getting a replacement instantly.... but the alpine 1000.1 was half the price of the kicker 1000.1.... same power,half the price...

im a little dissapointed with my type s 10" woofers.... i dont believe they can handle the power they are rated for... but i only paid 60 bucks a piece for them... so im still looking for another shallow mount woofer that dosent cost an arm and a leg...
