February 2010 Wet Okole Group Buy Pics!!!

which reminds me...sent me pictures of the front...bc it's kinda bulky on the bottom of the fronts seats...i even took off the side panels of the seats and it still looks all crazy messed up! :/

 

they told me the available appt they had was @ 4...traffic hour, screw that! i did the back myself in less than an hour total...i took breaks bc it was getting hot and ran some errands. i even took out daddy's tools and unscrewed the back middle seat belt.

 

WOW the red looks sharp. Nice job!!

 

When I ordered these I didn't know there was a group buy going on. Just got them last week and love them, the kids already tested them! Didn't take long to put in either.

did you just get out of the water and sit on them?? they aren't meant to replace a towel, meaning let your okole/boardshorts dry a little before you sit on them. i sit on mine w/ a wet okole after the beach all the time and they don't get all soggy, and they dry quickly. They protect your seat from getting wet and stained, but they are bound to get soggy if you get out of the water and go sit on them soaking wet.

fyi...they will get a little salt stain after a while sitting on them wet, but you can just take them off and give them a good wash

When you callabd place your order just tell them you want the black Trd offroad logo on the seats. Then tell him if you want them on just the fronts or fronts and rears.

 

So i just cleaned my covers for the first time and figured better late than never to post pics. Also wired in my seat heaters, but made a slight oversight when cutting the hole for the second switch as you can see in picture of the switches. By the way does anyone know where i can get a black shifter cover piece????

Nice choice. Mine are the same except for I got black head rests and rear seat pockets.
I'd recommend removing the center console black undercover and reinstalling the center console cover. It can look MUCH cleaner around the opener.

Those Wet Okle's look pretty sweet!! Can you give me specifics on your Wet Okle order? I am very interested in where you purchased, if they came with the TRD on them, and last but not least what your experience with this product has been. thanks, mate.

Hi Mike, these were bought directly from wet okole. They are charcoal and black. Matches my interior perfect. I got no piping. And that's a black TRD logo on the front seats. I love them. They add comfort to the seat. It's been two years now. When I get in and out of my truck I slide. It has created a tear on the edge of the seat. But I don't. blame it. I think you can always just replace whatever section is messed up. But I love these and will have them in all my future vehicles.
