No but I've seen the add-a-fuse things on here before and figured I give that a shot, but what plug would I put it for it to turn on/off with the ignition? I've done the cig lighter always on mod so I'd rather not wire it in with that.

That is a bit misleading though because "white" is somewhat subjective. Sunlight at noon is up around 5500K so a 6000k bulb will look pretty "white" with a hint of blue.
4300k on the other hand may appear less "white" (slightly more yellow) but gives the most lumens (lumens=brightness) 4300k is about 10% brighter than its 6000k counterpart.
If you want light performance, go 4300k. If you want a whiter appearance that you cant see because you are the one driving, go with 6000k.

Spec D headlights (garbage, Do not buy) replaced bulb with H7 80W Osram Off Road bulb so I could actually see. The lights they send do not put off any light at all and it's impossible to see anything at night... TOYO Open County AT III's (smooth ride, not loud) with Matte Black 17-In. TRD PRO Wheels Plasti dipped emblems and Bull Bar (Lasted about 2 years, need to spray them again)
6000K 55watts are Great!!! A lot brighter than the 35 watts or regular halogens...

I actually prefer my 4300k 55w HIDs better then the 6000k. A blend of the two is great tho.

I'd like to swap out my Hella 500's with HID's... 4300's huh??! might just have to go with those... I wouldn't want to be driving towards me... it's already bright, but it's not quite Daylight YET.....

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
I added a few pics to my gallery so you can see how it is mounted.

I was initially concerned about the vents too, but it only covers about 1/4 of the "drivers" vent and I kinda hate the hot air in my face anyway so I'm sure I won't miss it.. It still blows downward on my legs w/o a problem.

I ran the wire across the stearing column and tucked it up under the dash, but I think I'm gonna find a new way to keep it even more out of sight.. stay tuned

This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!

Nice - good to know - I'm not so concerned about hot air as cold - It gets hot where I live in the summer (it reached 80 last week) - I want direct access to my A/C blowing cold air at me. I'll check out your gallery soon cause I do like the location.

    Drove it.
    Parked next to a tacoma.
Saw 3 other tacomas while walking through the parking lot.
Drove home in front of a tacoma.
Passed several Tacomas in the oncoming lane.
    Felt like a boss.
    Tacoma's are taking over NY.

On side note - I'm loving my block heater. So worth the $60 I paid in November. I use it all the time. It melts snow on the hood & part of the windshield in storms. Even makes the cab like 50 degrees when I get in the truck. It's a bonus that I don't have to pay for electricity - renting. XD
