    My name is Ferg, I'm usually on Subaru boards but the decision to keep our much loved 1997 Tacoma until the end of the world means I need to start doing research and asking questions...and this definitely seems to be the place.

    The Tacoma has primarily been my wife's truck but lately I've been having a lot of fun driving it instead of my Impreza.

    things we need to address this year are a cracked exhaust manifold, very worn out shocks, possible wheel bearings (?) and a mystery oil leak somewhere in the engine compartment. Cup holder is busted as well...
