Is anyone planning to come out to King of the Hammers race this year?
This year they have the Every Man Challenge which is Sunday 2/5, LCQ for the main race is Tuesday and Wednesday and the main race Friday 2/10.

I'll be there with a booth in the vendor tent, and the ol 4Runner to wheel some too.

    Post up if you're going.

I have been to King of the Hammers since the 2nd year. I would highly Recommend going!!!!!! It is a whole different experience than desert racing or just rock crawling. Really cool vehicles out there too!

We were there last year. It is defiantly a blast! We have a team in the EMC stock class this year too so I'm pretty excited.

There will be a coarse map with designated spectator areas included with your entry and you can get a program that will have a more detailed map and information of the coarse. You should be able to roam between the 5 spectator areas through out the day and see many rigs go through each area.

The location of those spectator areas is not yet available because the actual race coarse information is not yet available. That information will be officially released Friday 2/3.

BTW, of you drive a Tacoma you should be sure to swing by the 4x Innovations booth in the vendor tent. There will be some pretty exciting things there for you. ;)

    Found it!

    tw.jpg

4x I has a couple of things going on at KOH this year. First, if you want to be one of the first people to see the newest products from 4x I come see our booth in the big vendor tent. There are a few new products for both the mini trucks and the Tacoma guys that have not been discussed or shown anywhere yet!

Then, Sat 2/4 if you want to be one of the first to see a new 4x I product installed on a truck come by the Ruff Stuff/Lincoln Welding Open Pit Sat morning (unsure of an exact time yet) and hang out while we install one of our new products on the Chris Schutt race truck we're sponsoring.

If you want to wheel with 4x I and Chris in the race rig Monday and Tuesday morning at 7:30am we will be meeting up at the race team garage (Chris Schutt, 321 Rugged Rd.) to go wheeling for the morning. There's no set plan on trails, this is a light "meet up with some Yotas, go wheel some trails and have fun" type of get together. Nothing offical. I will need to be back to town by noon to work the booth so I'm hoping to get 2 or so trails in and have fun wheeling with other yotas. So get up early and come beat the traffic!

And at any time if you see this 4Runner running around feel free to flag us down and say hi.
    Junioratlstj2.jpg

I'm no where near ready and can't wait all at the same time! Hope to see you there.
