Great, $125 stolen.

So apperently my xbox live account was either hacked or phished because i woke up to two charges from xbox live. one 49.99 and the other 74.99... my account has been locked and now i have to wait up to thirty days to have my money refunded and account back on. Fuckkk that.

 

that's crazy! didn't sony's ps3 website get hacked last year, all kinds of data stolen?

 

I believe so, Looks like xbox is having a run of hackers too. I could care less about my account, All i want is my 125 bucks back. Ridiculous that it takes so long.

Well there "investigation" did show that 125 dollars was stolen from my credit card and also 2400 Microsoft points. I have to redownload my profile onto my console but was given a free 30 day gold membership, I guess it all worked out, Wont receive my freaking 125 bucks for 1-2 billing cycles. WTF! i guess i didnt need that... jeez. Good thing i paid my truck and insurance early.

 

Was this after the PSN was hacked or recently? Changing your password every so often keeps your account in order. Personally im terrified to put my card on my XBL account so I buy the subscription cards instead so if i do get hacked I cant get money stolen.
