    My survival kit was WAY more than $40

    If i wanted to spend $40 on it though, I'd buy $40 worth of non-perisable food

    I keep 2 bags ready to rock and roll with pistol and rifle ammo, a couple knives, lighters, flint, 550 cord, a hammer, tourniquet, glasses, contacts and solution, water purification tabs, spare socks, a boonie hat, a whistle, 2 flashlights, a handful of batteries...i think theres more but its been awhile since i dug thru the bags

    I also picked my bags so that i can carry both of them, and my backpack together without interference along with a single point long gun sling
