2010 Leer 100R - Craiglist Find - Water Seal Question

Just had to share the deal I got on my new Cap. Been picking craigslist apart for a few weeks and finally found what I was looking for. Got this off Craigslist for $620. It's only a year old and it's the color I needed and everything. I wanted the sliding side windows as well for my two dogs. Couldn't have worked out better. Just thought I would share. Also attached a picture of the two reasons I needed to get a cap.

Now that I have your attention. If anyone can tell me, I need the seal that goes on top of the front wall of the bed near that cab that water seals the gap between my bed and cap. The guy told me it was installed at the dealer when he got his but I'm sure I can get something at a hardware store but didn't know if anyone knew exactly what I need to find. If anyone knows what I'm looking for, please let me know. Thanks guys

I love CL, too. I used foam "Frost King" pipe insulation (available at any Hardware store) and shoved it into that space.

 

Napa carries what they call camper tape, the part # is 770-1763. It is 1-1/4"wide x 3/16thick and they sell it in 30' rolls, but the roll is only like 12 bucks. It has tape on one side to stick it to whatever you want.

 

This is probably your best bet.^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Maybe email leer?

I used 1" backer rod (available at home depot or lowes). The rubber piece that was supposed to be glued to the truck didn't do a very good job keeping water out.

 

Thanks guys. The seal John3 showed looks good. So does the Skidooman's stuff. I might go look at Napa tomorrow. Now time for me to sell my soft Tri-fold cover.

 

Does anyone know if you can add racks to a leer 100R? I want it for surfboards and stuff.
