High lift jack mount..

    sure but whats the point... just mount them to the rail with carriage bolts if you're gonna use a bracket like that.

    Mounting the high lift directly to the rail certainly was a consideration, but I want it to fit beneath my cover so I thought using the brackets may be a way to do it.

    Oh I see. I'd just suggest using some flat strap then.

    The benefit of say kevins (ATO) bracket is that it drops it down and supports it on the rail and against the bed side and fender well. With a bracket like that it simply drops and you have leverage on the bed rail. I would say if you bent yourself some simple 1/8 flat strap and got some machinist t-nuts you could accomplish what you want by drilling a few holes.

    Sort of an L if you follow. Or you could probably bend your own mount like Kevins.

    or maybe if you flipped those ebay ones so the raised part sat against the bed, then just use some 1/2 bolts and a couple nuts to mount the hi-lift on the other side.

    Yes, this is ideally the way to go! some strap is a good suggestion.
