im lookin for something to replace my cd/tape deck that has pre amp output's. im looking at a pioneer FH-P404 but am uncertain that it will fit without cuting anything, also having it not look like crap. you know what i mean youve seen it in cars where people just make it work. any first gen pics of what you have goin on would also help me decide on what i should do.

thanks again guys your the best :):D:):D:D:):D:eek:

if you have a factory stereo now and still have the facotry brackets holding the radio in it is a plug and play install, just remove the brackets from the factory radio, attach them to the new radio and bolt it right in the dash.
on a first gen you need to remove the heater knobs on the slide controls.
pop the A/C panel faceplate off and the A/C switch will come out at the same time.
then remove 2 phillips head screws and pull the trim peice from the top, disconnect the hazard switch and remove the trim to access the radio mounting bolts. after you swap the head units install is reversed of removal.
i can remove mine in about 3 minutes

yep all you need is a wire harness and match up the wire colors from the stereo to the wire harness and plug it in, a 6th grader could do it.
