Does anyone know if the fog light mod to turn fog lights on anytime works the same on the 2009.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
It should as i wouldn't see any major changes in that area. The mod is cheap enough to try. If it doesn't work, you've wasted only 5 bucks...

Let us know how it turns out if you do it.

I had it on my 07. So I already have the wire. I'm ordering an 09 this week.

Just got my '09 PreRunner, checked the foglight relay and found one less pin than on my '07 when I did the mod. Not sure how to do the mod on the '09 now and would appreciate any help.

I just did mine on an 09 and found this thread searching for a problem.

I did the Mod. The directions did not explan EXACT what blade on the relay to use, so I assume its the one running parallel with the bumper and closer to the rear of the truck.

Now the problem. I can turn the fogs on and off anytime. Its now seems the dealer option DRL (Daytime running lights) functionality has moved from the inner marker bulbs to the headlights. So what I lost control of is the headlight bulbs now seem to always be on, but more dim than regular low beam.

Hmmmm, that's really weird. I have an 06' and did the Fog mod a few months ago and just installed the factory DTRL relay last week and works perfect. I'm not sure why it changed over to your headlights?

Never mind, I traced the problem back to an ID 10 T error with the operator. To embarrassed to provide the details of that error code..

It works great on a 2009, provided you read the directions.

FWIT, I would still like to find a copy of the 09 FSM so I can find the connection for the backup camera below the dash.
