I really like that. To keep it for as long as you have is great. Well done.

If you don't like what I had to say, you could have just said it. No need to redact what you wrote just to preserve my feelings.

It's been a great truck, 85' EFI, 5-speed SR5 ,150,000. Bought it from a guy that wanted to sell it so he could buy a bio diesel. I think he made a mistake, but good for me. Couldn't haul the wife and kid around in it so I got the double cab.

That isn't another member's truck. It is one of Toyota's SEMA rigs from a couple years ago. I love the vehicles that inspired it, though I don't like what Toyota did to this concept rendition. If people like it, then good on them. I guess this goes along the lines of "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all". People don't like their feeling hurt, and I understand that. I will have what I said before in this thread removed.

I didn't realize there were others that loved that Back to the Future truck too :) I fell in love with it and still carry that memory today. I think that's why I still am fiddling with my truck, I still get a bit giddy after each project.

Good luck, pretty sure that it had the turbo engine that was available in 84-85!

Your right. Its a solid axle from a land cruiser. There's a site online that talks about it and shows interior pics etc.
