    hey yall im fixin to get a 08 or 09 grizzly irs 350 this summer. Hopefully i can find a new 08 they are markin the price down on. I was wanderin if any of yall had any experience or opinions on them. I wont be runnin the dog mess out of it. It will only be for gettin me in and out of the woods and haulin deer/hogs. I might occasionaly do some moderate trail ridin, but not anything just to see if i can tear it up. anybody have any pros/cons on this 4wheeler

    go big or go home.i had an 02 660 grizzley and it was fast as hell. i would smoke 400EXes all the time,either in the woods,sand,or street. i dont think you'll be happy with a 350 unless you are 7 years old and are 76lbs. i didnt know they made a 350. i know they make the 450. is that what you meant? if so that would be alright i guess. i still say buy a used 660 or 700.

    I dont really need one that big. Had a 1988 bayou 220 for years and its done a fine job for all I use it for. If anything a big one wouldnt be able to maneuver. They make 350s and 450s and even bigger. I could afford a bigger one but just dont have any reason for one. Grizzlys are nice though

    The 350 Grizz is a good machine. Its not the fastest or most powerful (obviously, because its a 350 air-cooled 4-stroke) but it will be reliable and will serve you faithfully for years and years.
    Personally, Id go for the Big Bear 350 4x4 over the Grizz because its a manual. Manuals are lighter, more fun to ride and you dont have a belt to worry about getting wet and slipping.
    Polaris finally got away from belt-drive ATVs and went to a fluid coupling (like what Honda uses) for this very reason.
    Granted, Yamaha has a better design that keeps the belt dryer more than did Polaris, but its still a concern.
    Im personally not a fan of the bigger ATVs. They are just too big, heavy and hard to maneuver. A few of my friends and family have Polaris Sportsmans and those things are too big for my liking. I like something a little smaller, lighter and easier to maneuver like what you are looking at and like the old, 2-stroke ATVs that Polaris used to make (the only Polaris ATVs worth owning, IMO).

    the big bear is a good choice.my friend had an 02 and never got stuck.
