    Hello,
    this is my first thread.

I bought a K&N cold air intake and a Airaid Bottle Body Spacer as well from www.autoanything.com (awesome prices by the way) and was just wondering
if anyone could tell a difference in torque or just all around horsepower.

..and could anyone tell me if the K&N made anyone's exhaust's louder in any way?
I have a magnaflow and wondering what I should expect.

    Thanks ya'll! :D

Hi Dallin, welcome to TW

IMHO, call and cancel your order.
TB spacers are the snake oil of the last twenty years.
CAI don't offer much more then sound, I added the CAI as I liked the sound and it seemed to improve the MPG slightly.

    Why hello,

Do you know this by experience? How do ya'll know this?

I ordered the spacer because I can return it within 30 days, so why not try it, right??;)

It does seem kind of silly,
but I've looked up a bunch of reviews of it and people with 2004 Taco's seem to notice a difference.

Are you just guessing? I'm just wondering, haha I don't have much money to spend so I want to buy useful things!

Your truck, your choice. You came in asking for opinions and your receiving them. Some folks learned first hand by buying these things, others may know someone who did and others are willing to believe the write-ups and reviews. Then there those who just understand how stuff does and doesn't work. As for the CAI, I bought the TRD intake, reviews advised little or more likely no improvements. I got just what the reviews said I would get, no real improvement, though I do like the sound when I get on it.
Again, it comes down to what YOU want, it's YOUR truck.
    Edit
If these improvements that the TB claim are true, don't you think Toyota or other car manufactures would be installing the $35.00 part and charge outrageous prices for them?

Waste of money but toeach their own. You truck isn't going to make any real power gains unless you boost it.

well it comes Friday, I'll probably install it saturday.

I've read how it works and the whole concept seems kind of...dumb, but I've talked to multiple reps and read lots of reviews and that's what made me buy one.
I'll install it, and if I can't tell a difference then I'll return it!

haha I'll say the spacer helped...if I can tell that it helped. Otherwise ya, I'll take my money back. I'm just wondering if anyone out there installed this on their truck and can tell a difference.

Will these mods help you in the power department? That's a negative ghostrider...

All your bros and bro hoes sure will like the whistle they make though.

Have both of them installed, and I'm happy with them!
I'm not sure if the TB spacer does much...but it does make it sound like a supercharger haha.
It did make my magna-flow exhaust louder though...which is fine with me! Just under 2000 and around 2500 RPM's is when it's the loudest. It changed the tone a little bit though too.

Love the products, they sound way sweet! The mix between the exhaust, TB spacer, and the air intake sounds saweet!

    Thanks guys!

I just installed a K&N cold air intake on my 2011 Taco, and I noticed a marked increase in power, especially over 2000 rpm. Had I known how effective it would be, I would have installed one in 2011 when I bought the truck.

K & N is a great upgrade...Its a little loud when you punch the throttle.

Throttle body spacer is a complete waste of money.
