Icon coilovers are not superior... they are different. Heavier springs and digressive valving means a harsher street ride while performing better at high speeds offroad. This guy neither needs remote reservoirs nor does desert prerunning... he would get less while paying more with Icon shocks.

Looking at Toytec ulk also. If I get that one where can I get it installed for a reasonable price on SoCal? Just want to make sure it is done right.

King RR coilovers with 700lb springs (Talk to Down South Motorsports), Allpro Expo pack w/ King 2.5s, Bump Stops, Spindle Gussets. That's what I would do.

I was serious about the Garage thing, go to a couple socal meets, meet up with some guys, set a weekend aside when you are ready to install, get some beers and fire up the grill and invite some members over for a mod day. Save yourself alot of money. I am so jealous of all the mod days the so cal guys have. Im always stuck here in the valley. :(

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
He lives in Cali so I'm sure he'd use it more once he saw it's full potential! I would hardley call Icon's street ride "harsh". Firmer for sure, but if it's not cranked all the way up, they're smooth as butter! If he wants a "less harsh" street ride, get Fox (progressive)! If he has the budget and wants the best, that's my opinion! But opinions are like A holes.......lol!

Do it right the first time! :D
