I did 110 MPH on third, on a 2006 Gixxer, before I remember that I had no helmet and was wearing Teva's. Never again.

They learn sooner or later. Usually the hard way too. I used to max my R6 out at 165 all the time on the hwy, got a tank slapper at 150 once, scarriest moment in my life, Didnt wreck though. That still didnt teach me my lesson, learned that when my friend rode into the back of a semi that changed lanes into him right in front of me. Broke his back. Not worth the thrill, thats why I keep all my wreckless riding for the stuntbike in a empty parking lot.

Surprised to read about the color fiasco. His bike is orange, and the cops said it was red.

    Plausible it wasnt him...

However comma, I've never driven stupidly fast on my bike before :anonymous:

I've been 174 indicated on a Gixxer 1000. Probably the dumbest thing I've ever done. Wasn't even driving; I was on the back. Don't plan on every owning a sport bike. Not really my thing.

At the time 170MPH sounded like a COOL FUCKING IDEA!

Untill he shifted at about 130 and I felt my rear end start to slip off of the rear fender.
And I thought, Wow... what a DUMB FUCKING IDEA... This helmet ain't doing shit. If he fucks up I am royally F U C K E D.

188 is fast. The 205 mph guy they mentioned was on a worked out Honda RC 51 if I remember correctly, A few years back. A bunch of people in the bike world tried to say it was impossible for the RC's crank to spin that speed , that's all I remember about that.
It is easy to crank the shit out of the throttle on the open road , even I admit its stupid , but I also admit i have done it.... I've seen 176 on the clock. Probably was a bit less in reality if adjusted for gearing. I wouldn't recommend doing those speeds on a highway with any volume of traffic though. Stupid decision but a hell of an adrenaline rush
