    x2

i been into RC crawling since 2005 and they are money pits...

although, an RTR kit like that is cheaper than building from the ground up... im considering getting into an RTR for my next crawler or likely buying a used rolliing chassis...

We finally figured out what they did with all those first gen's that were in that yard. They shrinked them into RC trucks

Gotta love them 1st gen bronco's. That was my first rig, still have it too! I grew up riding in my dads as well, his is a standard cab, guess thats were i got the bronco bug. Prolly explains my obsession with reg cab tacos too ha. I then graduated to a pick-up with the 3.slow then off to the taco and now have 2 of em!!

i want to get a modern kit now... im still crawling with my old non kit crawler... frankensteined from 6 different RC trucks... built this one back in 2008... recently got some new wheels/tires from an Axial and a Losi body... the axles are JB Weld locked OG Tamiya TLT axles... transmission from a Traxxas bandit also locked... 65turn brushed motor on Traxxas XL5 esc with 8500mah 2s lipo... driveshafts from Traxxas Jato... shocks from emaxx i think... forgot the rest of the build... chassis was a custom cut job from someone on the crawler forums... he made 10 of them back then...

yesterday i went back to the original swampers that were on it...

    RC-013a.jpg

My other crawlers. Sold these off 5 years ago. Should have kept them.
    RC-027.jpg

Selling this one was another regret.
