Seriously!! Granted, it was a little beat up - but it was power everything! I paid more than that for my beat up truck with power nothing and 30,000 more miles!

Holy shit.. He is gonna regret that..

Well I'm okay with 7'' really up front..but not having the rear come out farther to me seems just..dumb haha

so i think a good mid travel setup will be great for me.

There is no such thing as a true single cab TRD Tacoma from that year era.

TRD required SR5 and in all cases extra cab, very few were avail with 4cyl but 90% seemed to be V6 SR5 extra cab with a rear locker to be considered a TRD.

That is just an aftermarket sticker.

i installed a memphis 10 in a custom sub box and put a kenwood radio in, fire lights
it took about 4 hours to make all together to make and was rather cheap if i had had the truck with me it would fit and look alot better

Mid travel is like what, 1 more inch of travel?...

You don't have to go 3.5" wider each side, don't they make 2" over kits? for 2nd gens they do, not really sure 1st gen. (Idk IFS :p ) Also you can always convert to rear disk brakes I think it adds maybe .25" ea side or more.. Oh and wheel spacers to match :D

took off the throttle body & cleaned the TB and intake manifold with pro-grade carb cleaner ($2) a can. Stuff beats brake cleaner and throttle body cleaner. Great stuff.

Truck smoked for 10 minutes when I started it. Swear I gained 30hp. I used to have to push the petal down 80%-100% to get the truck to go past 3k rpms (manual - 5spd). Now the beast revs so free. When I push in the clutch after going 4k rpms in 3rd the rpms fall instantly! They used to get stuck for 2-3 seconds.

Feels like a v6 race car right now. Really happy.

i would take it off for best resaults it is super easy...you will be able to clean up behind the gold flapper thing...not sure what its called but it should be 4 bolts two plugs and 3 hoses to un connect...really easy just dont bent up that metal gasket.
