I must be missing something here...

You have over 800 posts on this forum in less than 3 months and now you want to get a Mazda 3 instead of a Tacoma?

Hahaha! Well it would be "given" to me, if they bought back my car then I would immediately go out and get a Tacoma. If they didn't give me that option and I actually enjoyed driving the 2010 model (assuming they would be fine with that type of trade, which is doubtful) then that could be a good route to go.
In the end if there's no option of getting a 2010 model for mine then there will be some buying back or Lemon Lawing involved and then a Tacoma. I'm just wondering some people's opinions...but you do give a very valid and strong point.

Alright, so I go up in the morning and if the option arises, I will have them buy it back and get my ass into that Sport already!

I just want to clear up here:
    I have full service records
A list of things that are wrong and I haven't brought up...ever
A print out of the California Lemon Law (just for reference ;))

Anything else I should bring besides the actual car???

I have a feeling that one might be useful but I won't need one...these service records, this list, and my 2 dealer stories, and category 2 of the CA LL are more than enough for any logical non-asshole human being to say "alright, that is a little insane."

Good idea. Go with a friend in a suit and have him stand next to you.

So I was fricking there this morning with the useless damned district manager and I swear it's like everything in this facockta auto company is useless! It's like they don't do a damn thing or they fix it but break a bunch of crap on the damned car in the end.
I was there this morning at 15 minutes to 9 and the guy wasn't there yet, so I waited a bit. He got there and talked to the service manager for like 10 minutes and then came out to talk to me. Then after a short briefing he asked "what do you want to focus on today?" I told him everything we can possibly fit in. He told me that he only wanted to focus on what I was really worried about...so I told him everything that's wrong with it. I don't want to deal with this crap over and over again. Eventually he had me convinced on the transmission, rear brakes burning, and the header leaking was our main focal points. I took him and the service manager out for a drive and couldn't get this pos car to do a damn thing. It sucked.
Then I told him about all the service records and my current list...which is the service records and a new list...and he basically blew it off. He told me to just "keep trying" to get it fixed. I was literally 5 seconds away from pulling out the CA Lemon Law I printed out last night and show him but the topic changed to my dealer experiences and the overall shittyness of the car.

Bottom line, I was there waaaaaaaaaaaay shorter than I intended and in the end the only car we got to a dealer to get anything fixed was the Expedition...at Ford...who knew exactly what was wrong with everything we mentioned...FMC (fuck my car)

Either way, I will be doing something about this, I'm not taking this lightly because this is such BS. an 8 month old car should not do this and if it comes to it I will walk in there and specifically say "fix this or you can speak to my lawyer."
Credit goes to all of you that said I should've brought a lawyer...now I see, I should have.

On a side note: I was in a 2010 Mazda3 Grand Touring...yea they're poorly designed and absolute shit. I can't believe I thought it would be an ok replacement for my car.
