Cracked Doug Thorley Headers. 3.4

So... I noticed a crack in my headers that are just about 3 years old.

I contacted Gadget at URD where I bought them and he told me to Contact Nick at Doug thorley Directly.

They look like they have been cracked a while.

Should I really be concerned or get this fixed before I drive anymore?

 

i wouldn't be worried about driving it, might just make an annoying sound but i'm sure they'll take care of you and replace the set or somthing

 

Thanks yeah that's what I was thinking, I left them a voicemail and email about it. Hopefully they get back to me soon.

 

Worst case is it completely shears and you have an open exhaust port. LOUD is an understatement! Had this happen to me on a Chevy and it was extremely annoying. Took it to the local muffler shop and he brazed it up real good. Never had another issue with it. As tight as that one is to get to, you may have to remove it and braze it from the inside to make sure it seals. Worst case i know of is a warped valve from cold air being pulled back in the head. You shouldn't have that problem as it is the longer tube and it is away from the head.
