So my phone apparently will not charge anymore. It will not recognize the USB when it is plugged in, it does nothing. I was going to take it to the Apple store to see what they can do, but i have it jailbroken and can not restore it. Is there anyway to restore it with out connecting it to iTunes? Any ideas on what i can do?

No, i tried 3 different ones. It looks as if the connection in the phone has a little oxydation on it.

    Is it under warranty?

If the plug does not work with a computer or charger then just let it die completely.

When you go to apple they will not be able to turn it on. If its under warranty they will just give you a new phone.

If there is water damage, look into the ear phone hole, if the sticker is still white, they will think there is no water damage...pinkish-red, it means there was water "damage"

The reason i put that in quotes is I've had friends who've never had their phones submerged in water, but yet the indicator shows pink...
