Drive your truck over one at speeds high enough to hydroplane, and you'll find out, be sure to post pics. Of course, if you go fast ENOUGH, you might just hydroplane right over it, in which case a video is in order.:p

Rain tires are far different than our normal AT or MT tires...the deep rib tread with sipes has proven to be VERY good in the wet, like the Mich LTX M/S2, probably my next 3 season tire...

But slow WAY down, perhaps down to 20 mph for 6" of water. The few years I was living in a "seasonal wetland," I got real used to driving down flooded roads. The 4x4 jacked pickups were best since the floor boards stayed above the water.

So again how is a 5 INCH log going to hurt my truck. A 5 INCH log sounds more like something that has floated up from the sewer. I guess since I have the super white it will leave a skid mark on it? High pressure washer and it will be gone. And if you want pics of that well...... the internet has places for that or just take you camera in your bathroom.

Are you serious ? If you run over a 5" diameter log at speed you will definitely know about it

X2! Are you thinking of a 5 inch long stick? And Not sure what sewers you are talking about, but no 5 inch log is fitting in or out of a sewer grate around here. If its flooding, it might wash on shore from something, such as a river or flooded stream.

Sounds like a wooden fence post. I don't want to hit one on the highway.

That makes a few of us that don't have invincible trucks. I guess if you have Atrac and a skewp you'd be fine?:p

4WD in the rain? Spinning wheels don't work well for a boat, regardless if it's two or four of them. As everyone says, slow down.
