I saw these this morning and wondered if they were any good...any opinions? For $17 I am not expecting much, but have been looking for a good knife to throw in the boat, tackle box.

I like that serrated one as it is good for cutting braided line

My brother gave me a kershaw for Christmas, I have really liked it so far. They used to be super expensive, seems they have started to produce a more economical line.

I have and have had several Kershaw knives - they're great. Their speedsafe design works great and is durable. All of mine have been dropped at one point or another and I've never had a spring break or anything come loose.

I think the "cheap" aspect of these comes in to play with the plastics used for the grips. It's just less expensive stuff to get a low price point - doesn't mean it's not durable. The Leek model I have for example is smooth satin stainless, no plastic and runs $60-80 depending on the finish you get.

For comparison, I got a Kershaw, non-speedsafe at Cabela's for $15.99 around Christmas time during one of their big sales. The speedsafe is worth it's weight in gold with these things.

I picked up a Tremor. This will be my third Kershaw. :anonymous:

It will be for the tackle box as well.

I just picked up the asset, compound and drone. I've had great luck with the Kershaw brand. The blades are easy to sharpen and hold an edge for a decent amount of time.

    Thanks for sharing the deal.
