Sorry haven't been on at all this weekend guys. Changed oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, and coolant in my car yesterday so it was an all automobile weekend! My body's about to fall apart this morning though.

Thanks again Kevin for hosting and the food. It was good stuff...you've got the perfect house to host so you'll have to do it again sometime! Except for the fact thats its on the other side of the world from me. Got stuck in traffic for a wreck on 30 west for a while on the drive home...that was painful.

I headed straight for firestone after leaving your place. The shop was really nice actually, much nicer looking than the one close to my place here in FW. Got out of there at $143.xx for lifetime alignment with a $25 off coupon I got in the mail. I figure it might actually be worth it since the truck is about new.

Truck rides great. It might be a little firmer in the front but it feels great and not much change from stock ride wise. Front has settled to just about level. I did a quick measure last night and its an 1/8 or 1/4 high in the front. Can't really tell though. I will give it a couple weeks and if its still nose high I'll figure out something for a bit of lift in the back.

Oh fun ! I ended up working on my CB most of yesterday, got the wire run where I want it, looks super clean but didn't get to hook anything up as I ran out of time. Almost disassembled the entire console just to get to the 12V plug. I'll try again this weekend I think.

As for settling, when you left, it was 24" from center hub to the bottom of the fendor (not center of the fender, straight up) which was only 1/2" higher than adam's If I recall. Hope it it rides better in a month or so.

Hi, all. I just moved to North DFW and wish I could have made this. I'm looking forward to going on some rides if there's ever a group that gets together for that. I'm running stock right now but I've got big dreams!

Keep an eye on the Texas BS threads; we generally start talking about the meets and wheeling trips there.

    Also, welcome to Texas!
