    er. well i guess I sort of figured out the solution:

    Alpine SWS-1043
    » sealed box volume: 0.65-1.5 cubic feet » ported box volume: 1.0-1.75 cubic feet

    Anyone good at eye-balling what they think the internal volume might be. no dimensions anywhere for that box

    Magnaflow muffler, HID lights, MotoExtender, Weathertec floormats
    My friend has 2 10" Alpine Type S's in his DC in that vented enclosure. It sounds pretty good for 10's with a wide range of frequencies.

    Wow, dredging up the dead....

    Reality though is that porting a box this small with a 10" sub sounds (no pun intended...) like a losing deal. Now if the box was a single with the entire passenger side as air space, you may have a contender, but not like it's being sold.

    Lots of people ask me about these and I wanted to make it clear the specs are wrong. Also the port is tubed to about 45hz. If any one cares
