Take em off if you dont mind a little extra mud on the truck. They'll fall off after a while if you do any off-roading anyway. My fronts did at least.

Hehe you're too cute ;) and before he went there he shoulda asked how much I paid for it and he woulda known I drove off the lot with the tx for 32k same as an offroad..... So I got it for cheaper than buying another one new and adding the stuff separate..... Thanks for your input!

    Sincerely
"Mr. Hardcore" <----- as you put it :p

You can make like $150 just by selling the set of 4, more if they're new. Trust me.

I took mine off also. Every truck is missing them except for the taco for some reason. Guess we will see how the rocker looks in a year...

Unless you want this to happen to your truck after a few years, don't remove the mudflaps.

First thing I did after getting the Subaru. Not pretty but a necessity if you live in the rust belt.

It's easier to replace a shredded mudflap than it is to repair the rocker panel.

nothing for function is pretty and they are ugly. ive had mine off since i bought my truck, even told the dealership to take them off but i figured i could sell them. so far no chips and as far as getting hit by rocks from other cars or trucks, thats what insurance is for and s@#t happens. so i say take them off.

If you go on gravel roads at all don't do it. I took mine off and in 3 months my rear bumper and the rocker behind the rear wheel were both chipped badly. I had didn't have sliders though. If you put down additional protector it doesn't matter. I raptor linered my fender flares and the bottom of the truck. Problem solved.

i always wondered why we cant have a choice of having a 4x4 without flares and have 2 wheel drive fenders and quarter panels . i had a 98 4x4 that only had the small chrome wheel opening moldings and they looked great and i could remove them without any holes in the panels .
