I'd sell it, by the time you get back, they will probably come up with a more fuel efficient engine.

 

Sell it, of course. Why would you let it sit for 3 years and depreciate if you can get what you paid out of it now?

As far as I know the air force will ship two vehicles over there on there dime if you are married. I was based at lakenheath for 3 years and had my car with me! Lakenheath was my first base. I would ship it. That way you don't have to buy another vehicle!

 

Tex----The financial cost of keeping it would exceed the price of shipping. If you figure you could only get $25,000 for it..(which is cheap) That money at only a measley 3%/yr is $750 x3 $2250.. Sell the truck, bank the money... Good luck overseas.
