Yeah, that's the vibe I'm getting too... But if he really is looking for help, I suppose I could help that situation.

Alright, here is my suggestion to you. Since you are looking for a bit of a performance increase as well as sound, I would look into a straight through design muffler. Companies that I would look at are Wicked Flows, Aero Turbine, Dynomax, and Magnaflow has some decent offerings that I have seen recently. These all have mufflers that are straight-through design and are dyno proven to give you more top end hp (5-8 at most which you will likely not feel), and you will also lose a bit of low end power, which will occur any time you open up your exhaust. If you are after pure volume, straight pipe the son-of-a-bitch but I seriously recommend. Don't buy a Flowmaster anything... Many will recommend it mainly because that is what most shops recommend to them. Blowmasters are dyno proven to DECREASE power and they have a shitty drone all of the time. If you absolutely must have a chambered/packed muffler look into TRD, URD, or Magnaflow. Your best route honestly is to check out some sound vids and see what you like... I like my exhaust tone and dislike others. I am sure that there are many out there who don't like my sound. It is all up to how you hear it man.

I went for a drive with the muffler removed when I installed my cat back. Sounds like a diesel but the loss in power is very noticeable.
