So i jusy went out to see about an egr valve and gasket. And Autozone told me they have to order it, so did napa. So I decided to go to the dealer to see if they have it. But the guy says that my truck doesnt have one.:0 I dont get it! Im pretty sure I do. But he told me that they stopped making them around 96 and newer. Can someone explain this?

Yep! I know... i just changed my PCV valve and it was pretty dirty. So I hope that helps some. I guess if the ruff idle, bad mpgs persists, then its the wires next.

Hey chris! could I hurt anything by seafoaming through the PCV? Is it a good idea, or is the brake booster line better? The PCV line seams closer to the TB and will clean better, it seems.

I have never done it thru the PCV. Being as its closer to the throttle body, it may increase the chance of hydrolocking the engine if it gets sucked thru to fast..

You still havent changed your wires??? I would change them out. Being as one had a problem, others could be causeing your idle to be messed up.

you can go thru the pcv for seafoaming, but do it extra slowly. that will give the whole intake a good cleaning too.
