going to look at rim options now also. Want a dark grey or black rim set that isnt heavier than stock (lighter would be nice) and cheap on the wallet.

Well too late now since you already ordered them, but remember weight is a major factor, but so is the tread design. You can find a lighter all terrain tire, but because the tread pattern is going to be designed for off-road use it's gonna have more "bite" into the payment which creates rolling resistance. That as well as weight is where you loose your MPG and most people don't think about that. If you're buying a tire to gain MPG you need a P-rated highway tire like the Michelin LTX/MS2s.

the michelin's had too much of a highway tire look to them for me. I think the cooper is a mild looking AT tire, so hoping less aggressive on the MPGs also. It is still an aggressive enough look to support what I was looking for.

Not really buying for better MPGs just didn't want to hurt MPGs. I had some BFG ATs on a JEEP and they were extremely heavy, loud, and bogged my jeep down. So I am just hoping to avoid that really.

Thanks for the input though. I looked at the mich's after a few people recommended them on here, but just didn't meet my visual desire.

I know EXACTLY what you mean lol. I just put a brand new set of Michelin LTX MS2s on Friday. Honestly the truck glides like butter on the road, but man they are some ugly tires. I've been debating on taking them back. I mean I wanted a highway tire that wouldn't cause me some much pain at the pump, but damn I feel like a retiree going to the airfield with his R/C airplane in these things lol.

That was partially why I went with the Geolanders. In the 265 70 16's they were one of the lightest tires I could find at 37 lbs each, which according to Tirerack was only 1 lb heavier than stock. Yet they still have a nice looking AT pattern imo.

You know I've been looking at these as well for a replacement when/if I take them back. (More than likely tomorrow). I think the Yokohamas are a nice compromise of a light, decent looking highway/tire that doesn't look like I should be driving to the bank to cash my Social Security checks. I've had good experience with Yokohamas I had them on my STi and they were great.

Just keep in mind that if you go up one size to 265 75 16 that so many run on here in the same tire, it is quite heavy. If I remember correctly that size in the Geolander was like 51 lbs.

^ Funny you mention that because when I was researching tires I actually was looking to downgrade to a smaller size because of the weight savings compared to my previous Goodyear Duratracs. My previous 265/75/16 Duratracs (which were excellent tires) weighed in at 45 lbs each. The new Michelins I bought were the lightest highway tire I could find weighing in at 37lbs each. That being said, that's 32 lbs. of a rolling weight loss when compared to my Duratracs! Not too mention the rolling resistance of the Michelins is a night and day difference.

I got them in one day, mounted up right away. They look good and I will post pics this week. I can't believe I got them in 1 day for $60 shipping charges and no tax.

It is a good looking tire, not to aggressive, but not driving miss Daisy.

Glad you posted this. My Tires were under-inflated from install. Guess they went with the dunlop or stock specs. I went up to 36 PSI and instead of making them harder they seem to be smoother. I will report back with first MPG run.

Tires look and feel great. Very grippy and confident inspiring. Never thought a truck tire could do this well on turns. I think the overall look of the truck has improved, although most people would be able to tell the 1.25-1.3" difference, I can.

I will get pics up this weekend hopefully.
