About to spend that $$$$! Questions

Hey TW, so I finally got back from deployment and am ready to start spending that hard earned money! I found this site while overseas and am addicted and now want to spend way too much on my Taco!

I'd like to get some opinions about the setup I plan on getting to make sure everything fits right. If you see anything that looks off, your advise would be appreciated.

What I have
Stock 2011 DCSB TRD Sport 4X4

The Plan:

Suspension
Toytec Ultimate Lift Kit (set right about at 3")
Dakar Rear Leaf pack
LR UCAs

Tires & Wheels
Procomp 7089
Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs 285/70/17

Interior:
Pioneer AVIC-F930BT (already installed and am quite happy with it)
Wet Okle seat covers (hitting up that Group Buy! )

Exterior:
LEER XR Shell
Remove those damn mud flaps

So I have a couple of questions to go with this.
1. Does the ULK go to at least 3" or just just averages about 3". Asking because I want to chop and cut as little as possible with the tires.

2. Does going with 17X9 inch rims compared to 17X8 make any difference?
Here are the specs for the 9 inch wide rims:
6 on 5.5, 4.75 BS, -6mm offset

And for the 8 wide:
only difference is 0mm offset.

3. Is installing the ULK and UCAs really as easy as the installation instructions make it out to be? I don't have a lot of mechanical experience and would rather not pay someone else to do it if it isn't that difficult. I've read an install thread on the OME setup and don't think it would be much different from this. I already got a quote for $600 for install and alignment.

the only reson i say that, is because he can actually meet people from his area, be in a wheeling club, have access to others tools, and have help in PERSON. tw can handle this, but, it was just a suggestion
