Traded front painted bumped for chrome bumper. My truck can with the chrome package, except the front bumper, so I found someone who wanted to trade. Front chrome bumper wears better (no paint chips from other traffic)!

What are you running on the front end?
With my coilovers from toytech, I still have them set to the level that they were shipped to me at. I have room to increase the hight (but not by much from what I've heard).

this. if you have stock uca's then the rubbing is caused by your current lift with to much camber. some light racing uca's would fix this most likely.

Also, take note of the pinch weld, while this is not an issue, you could get spidertracks, but that will cause more rubbing on this area, and possibly fender. but less rubbing on inner rear frame.

you will soon get rubbing on your windshield fluid res, but you should/could just go aftermarket and get a smaller relocated unit.

as others have stated, 3 inches is pretty much the max safely and affordable. next option is long travel, but that adds ALOT of cost.

There's still an option of a 1" body lift, right guys!?! I didn't want to go there, but if it helps with my delema and it's only 1"/1.5" I wont mind.
Any thoughts, brands and costs, also pro or cons you have!?!

Dude. Like others have said, more lift wont help your situation. Proper backspacing will help. But a 1" body lift won't reAlly hurt...but any BL should be avoided.

Hammer the pinch weld and check out daystars 1" body lift. It's not blocks, just taller body bushings. Prolly wouldn't hurt to replace those bushings and bolts anyway. Big body lifts do suck, but I see nothing wrong with this 1" option.

I'd be careful with going too high in front. I have 3" and my UCA joints are maxxed out at full droop. And to get my 3" spacers in I already ended up taking the UCA's OFF to get the coil and shock assembly back in. a bit of a PITA for me at the time. I do plan to get a 1 or 2" BL to make it look better when I get 33's... If i don't get crucified first for even considering it lol.

That statement makes no sense. You are going to make the truck look "better" with a body lift? And why add a body lift when you already have the 3'' to clear the 33's?

Body lifts not only look bad they are DANGEROUS. Due to shear forces from an accident the body pucks can cause the body to shear off the frame...no bueno.

I pulled up my carpet to size up the body mount locations for when I take off my body lift and the washers under the bolts are bowed and deformed from the forces applied to the body from wheeling and normal driving...I have never been in an accident...SCARY.

I mean, just to help with the stuffed look. More fender clearence, and one inch of frame showing isn't gonna be noticeable to the untrained eye, especially if i get some rock crusher's or nerf bars. I'm planning to also add oversized washers on top of the puck's to insure they don't push through the floor. I think it should work ok wince I'm not planning on goin to pismo. And jump dunes.

If you are ONLY going to go w/ a 1'' I think you will be okay. But you wont get as much fender clearance as much as tubbing.

A BL isnt going to make it look better. IMO big tires with small lift looks much much better. Just get out a slegehammer and start pounding to make them fit, not much you can do about rubbing on the frame.

I DO plan on pounding my pinch weld too, i just thought a 1" BL would help. Ill have to see when i get my 33's this summer, if i think they look stuffed in there too much ill go buy one for looks. Like i said, 1" of frame wont be that noticeable. I never really though 3" ones looked that terrible on top of a suspension lift if done right anthere was something to cover up the frame. But ill agree 3" is an awful long ways from your frame. Plus the extended shifter BS you deal with.

*sigh*, another thread becoming a victim of the BL subject, but since we're in this far, do you have any complaints with your shift throw? I don't think extending my shifters should be an issue with only 1", but idk forsure. I also have an idea to put washers on both sides of the body mount that are about 2" diameter. That should reinforce it pretty good and keep it from wrecking the body mounts.

I have a 1''. All you need are the 1'' blocks and extended bolts. The shifter is fine after the lift, the steering has enough adjustability in it for the BL, and the gas thing isnt that bad either. There is a bit of a gap between the bed and frame rail, is it that noticeable? To me it is, but probably not to someone else. I do hate the gap in the front bumper, and it pulled the clips in the front wheel well off so the gap guards are starting to rip off. It looks like crap and i need to figure that one out.

ok, that doesn't sound too bad, I think I could fab some bumper brackets easy enough, but then theres my brushguard, hmmm. Anyways, I'll stop polluting the thread with BL BS.
